Argumentative Essay Living In The City Is Better Than Countryside Living in the Countryside is better than the City. There are around seven billion people all over the world reside in our mother Earth.

Living in the countryside or living in large cities has its own advantages and disadvantages. For me, I prefer the peaceful life in the country because of the above-mentioned points. I wish I can afford to build another happy house surrounded by a nice garden in the countryside when my husband and I get older.

Other people prefer appealing and exciting city life while to other tranquility and beauty of the country is the best. It is all about individual preference.Living expenses in the country are significantly less compared to the city. One individual that was reluctant to move from the city to the country says 10 years later, “My mortgage is less, taxes are less, car insurance is less, and our needs are less.” (Childs). There is less income in the country but that comes with fewer expenses.Residing in urban or rural areas is entirely the decision of an individual. But, I believe that living in cities is more beneficial. Life in villages is restricted as the people have a backward thought process. However, this problem can be solved by educating the people.


City Living Country living is relaxing and private, compared to living in the city where it is constantly loud and anyone can show up at the doorstep. Country living and city living have many different aspects. There are many advantages and disadvantages to life in the country or to life in the city.On the other hand, rural living offer a peaceful lifestyle, away from the rat race of the city. One can connect with nature, get to know one’s neighbours, and generally enjoy a healthy, quiet, and less expensive existence. One does not have to deal with traffic, noise and air pollution, or competition for space, commodities, and even jobs.

The first reason for living in city is that it has more services than in a village such as hospitals, airport, commercial complexes, and big parks. These services attract people to live in city because they find anything they want.
